  • Kristi Bauer

    Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry  

    Kristi is farm girl who grew up in southwest Minnesota. As the Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry Kristi is passionate about equipping parents and impacting kids & students through every phase of life. Kristi loves meeting and talking with people to help them discover the intersection between their story and God’s story. When not at church Kristi enjoys geocaching with her husband Adam, listening to Christmas music, and playing piano.

  • Gwen Krehbiel

    Administrative Assistant / office manager   

    In the summer on 2018, Gwen Krehbiel joined the Hope Lutheran Church staff as the part-time Administrative Assistant. She is a homeshool mom of Sam (9th grade) and Ben (5th grade) so you may see the boys around church too. Her family has been a member of the congregation since 2015. She has also been the Church Council secretary and VBS kitchen lead. Gwen loves to quilt, sew, bake and garden in her spare time. 

  • Stephanie Girgen

    Preschool Administrator 

    Steph joined Hope Preschool in 2016, but has spent a lot of time working in similar settings. She served as an aide in the Monday/Wednesday 3 year old classes in 2016/17, and is excited to contribute additionally to the preschool as the administrator. Steph's favorite thing about working at Hope Lutheran is her ability to teach kids about God's love and about all the beauty He has created in nature. When not at church Steph enjoys gardening and landscaping, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

  • Jim Cummings


    Jim has been a charter member of the congregation. Over the years he has served in many roles and leadership positions. Jim has a uplifting sense of humor and helps keeps the staff and building at it's best. Jim's favorite thing about working at Hope is being able to work with his hands and use his God given gift of caring for the congregation and the building. In his spare time Jim enjoys riding his motorcycle and working on Radio Controlled (RC) airplanes.
