Summer Events for the Community
Once a month during the summer we plan a free family-friendly event for our community including:
National Night Out
Community Movie Night
Feed My Starving Children
A couple times a year we hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to the neediest children around the world.
Ages 5+ (accompanied by an adult) are invited to come as we serve cross-generationally as we turn hunger into hope!
Hastings Family Services
We partner with Hastings Family Service, a full service food pantry, collecting items each month for the families that they serve in our community.
Additional Initiatives
This is not a complete list of initiatives and service as we are always on the look out to see where we can be the hand and feet of Jesus in local and global capacity. Coat drive, hurricane & wildfire relief, caroling, veteran home volunteering, bloodmobile, Operation Christmas Child, Salvation Army Bell Ringers, working tending our community garden and other opportunities as they arise.
